Although mental health awareness has come a long way in recent years, there is often still a misconception that an individual must have severe issues to seek counselling. Whilst many may have deep rooted issues they need to work through, others may simply wish to talk about their feelings or a situation with someone who is unbiased. To me, there is no such thing as a problem “Too big” or “Too small”.
My aim is to welcome you into a warm, non-judgemental, safe space, where together, we can explore any difficulties you may be experiencing. I understand that the idea of therapy can be daunting, especially if its your first time, however, I sincerely believe that by creating a trusting, therapeutic relationship, you will be successful on your journey of self-discovery.
I predominantly work using a Person-Centred approach, however, I understand that everyone is unique, therefore I will draw upon various models to best meet the needs of the individual.
